Laredo Supper – The Texans go to meal

Laredo Supper is the Texans go to meal. It is sort of a Texas chili. Take this to pot luck dinners, church functions, dinner on the ground, family reunions and your favorite night of the week that allows for leftovers the next day. This freezes brilliantly.

Laredo Supper Ingredients

  • 1 lb 93% ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 jar cheese whiz
  • 2 small cans or 1 large Ranch style beans
  • 1 large can whole peeled tomatoes
  • 3 tbs diced jalapeños
  • Doritos

Brown ground beef. Separately, sauté the diced onion and bell pepper. This can be done in separate pans or beef on one side of pan, peppers and onion on the other. When browned, mix together and season with Season All.

Add the whole peeled tomatoes. With large spoon or spatula, chop the tomatoes. Mix.

Add the Ranch style beans. Add the Cheese Whiz. Add the diced jalapeños (optional).

Stir and cook on low/medium for 15 to 20 minutes. Enjoy with Doritos.
