On Sunday, April 2, the inaugural @Pickleball Slam featuring tennis legends Andre Agassi and John McEnroe was broadcast live and exclusively on ESPN. The event was created and produced by Horizon Sports & Experiences (HS&E) and InsideOut Sports & Entertainment (ISE), taking place at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. It aired immediately ahead of the NCAA Women’s basketball championship game.
John McEnroe and Andre Agassi teamed up to compete in a pickleball slam on ESPN. The match was an exciting one with the two tennis greats displaying their athleticism, skill, and agility on the pickleball court. Agassi said something to the effect that McEnroe hit the ball low and in places where he is not comfortable with.
The winner of the Pickleball Slam was Andy Roddick, who defeated Michael Chang in the singles match.
